About

The Okazaki International Association (OIA) works to promote international exchange at the individual level and help citizens acquire a greater understanding of foreign cultures. Each year, we organize a wide variety of programs and activities: from language and culture seminars to recreational activities that bring our Japanese and foreign residents together; from panel discussions to educational visits to sister cities abroad, all of our programs are designed to further international understanding.
We will continue to raise our citizens’ awareness and to equip our youth with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to contribute to an increasingly global society in the future. OIA was founded in June 1985.
